Sometimes You Win Some

A couple old friends of mine, took me in their canoe to a remote campsite, miles across a beautiful high mountain lake. I love being outdoors, under the stars, the sky, the trees, surrounded by water. It's how I feel connected to the energies of what is beyond me. In times like these I realize: if everything I've ever done in my past, has lead me to this moment and place, then I know for certain, whatever good I've been doing, I should probably just continue practicing. Life is surely grand.
